Is anyone else having problems with not receiving emails letting you know you have a private message or a reply to a topic?
It just started about a week ago.

| I have gotten any notices for over 2 months. I feel bad when I can't get back to people right away, but I have no idea I have any pm's until I visit the site. |

I get no email with PMs - THEN when CF goed DOWN I get a slew of emails about the PM's I GOT and never got emails about in prior MONTHS - Laurie - I sent you PM about this - NOW I am NOT getting PMs again and SOMETIMES it does shows "You have no new messages" when I DO so I spend a LOT of time hunting to see if there are new msgs - ALSO spend a lot of time seeing if people got the coups because I ALSO dont know when they post FB for me. It is VERY TIME CONSUMING. Wish it could be fixed,

Well, since this was bumped up and I happened to mention it today on the chit chat board, I'm still not getting any notices when I have pm's or when someone replies to a post. I see from my earlier thread that I haven't gotten any notices from early summer. Since there don't seem to be too many of us, I'm pretty sure it has to do with our addresses. I'm using an AOL address. On a few other boards I don't get notice of pm's either, so it's probably because of that.
ETA: I changed my e-mail address from AOL to Verizon and am not getting notices, so it must be AOL. But PLEASE do not attempt to change your e-mail until you talk to Laurie about it first. It caused me to get locked out of the site.  |
