| I don't understand what the big fuss is all about. Everyone got codes who looked at this forum and you can't tell me that actual smokers got all of their codes from smoking a pack of cigarettes and nowhere else! I am a smoker(Camel to be exact), but I never paid any attention to the small insert in the cigarette pack and knew nothing about the Comp Shop until I joined this forum. I am grateful for all the codes that were posted and I for sure went to the Comp Shop and used up all my points without one complaint. I didn't get the items I would have liked to have gotten, but I had a chance to and got greedy and decided to wait until maybe I collected more points for something better. I waited too long and missed out, but that is how life is. Get over your guilt of not using up your points right away when you saw something you wanted and being greedy to try to earn something better---using codes you got off of this forum. I thank all those who posted codes and I had a great time!!!! |

my fiance' and i have been collecting too, we only get the ten point codes though cuz that is usually what they gave us in the buy one get one packs that he bought, that was the only reason he really started to smoke camels cuz he's one of those that will buy whatever is kinda on sale or the cheapies. i think he is defently a camel fan now though cuz he's had a couple packs that he's loved!!! we just got some bogo coupons and we're supossed to be getting some more (we ended up with two accounts cuz after about 6 months they finally verified my account!?! 6 FREAKING MONTHS!!! TALK ABOUT A BUNCH OF WHATEVER... so we ordered some BOGO on his and some on mine and then i ordered a couple DVD's and i got my coupons and my first DVD the other day, i'm still waiting on his BOGO coupon and my other DVD (i got as good as it gets yesterday) hopefully in the next couple days i'll get pretty woman.  i love that movie for some reason..  |

| if people collect c notes i got a few of those hanging around too... sixteenvolt420 you could always order the bogo coupons if you dont see something you like, i got mine the other day and they'll be great for my hunny or u could always turn around and trade them for other things those coupons i think would go hot on here if my boyfriend quit smoking before they were all gone... |

I have received my movies that I ordered on 12/9, but I haven't received my BOGO coupons that I ordered on 11/14  I sent them an e-mail, and they couldn't tell me anything, so I tried calling, and they said that they can't tell me anything until it has been 12 weeks since the order was placed  That makes me angry!! I was wanting to give them to my hubby for Christmas. He has been a faithful Camel smoker for about 10 years! My order for the BOGO coupons isn't even showing up on my order status, but they deducted the points from my account on the 14th of November. |

they dont show ya when they ship them out, i got mine the other day and i got one of my first movies the other day but my hunny hasn't recieved his bogo coupons yet and i haven't recieved the other movies, i figured w/ the holidays they're prolly running behind... well that and how many orders and stuff they get for stuff... they didn't put anything too good in there, everything is so expensive and they sent me an email telling me that they weren't gonna give out anymore points after this month.  |

I agree with this post to a certain point. I don't think it's really fair that EVERYONE got to take advantage of this promotion/program. I mean, usually, us smokers are shunned upon, being banned from smoking in general restaurants and are dealing with the hike of cigarette taxes... I don't know about you all, but a pack of cigarettes is close to $6 here in Michigan. So, the cigarette companies have devised a way to "reward" its continued patronage and customers by rewarding them with the rewards for continuing to purchase and use their products. I smoke Camels and Marlboro's... whichever is on sale usually. I save Marlboro miles and I save Camel C-notes. I think this program was a GREAT idea for Camel, but they didn't restrict it enough. Yes, freebies are nice and since we're all sharing on this forum, it's nice that all of you have taken the time to search and find and post the codes, I appreciate it GREATLY! Without your hard work and effort, I would NEVER have gotten all the rewards I did get. I think that the freebies should have been limited and I think that anyone who opened more than 2 accounts (for the 2 household heads per family) was being greedy. It's not fair to others who do continue to waste our money on cigarettes and show loyalty to the cigarette companies to not get our "piece of the pie" and for all those others who don't contribute to have raked in all the rewards. I am not pointing fingers, as I'm sure that we all were fair about the reward program, but I do hear ya! |

I, too, had the same issue. I had ordered the decanter set and it came immediately (about 2-3 weeks later), but I had ordered the dice ashtray and lighter set WAY before that. When I contacted Camel, they advised that the order was processed and that the gifts/rewards do not ship out in any given order and that I should expect my dice set before Jan. Sure enough, within a week of the email, I received my package. So, unfortunately, you may have to wait the full 12 weeks or contact them again. Fortunately, it's happened to me so I wouldn't worry about you not getting your stuff just yet! Hope that helps. |

| we pay less then 5$ usually but we dont pay cig tax so like the bogo packs that they used to sell is actually 5$ straight up. i have some extra c notes that we wont be using though if anyone wants them. |

Wow, I remember those days! Now a pack of Marlboro's are around $3.70-$3.90/pack  Geez, at least they are not $6, I guess.
Terri, I had an ex-bf that had a driving job and everynight he went down into Oklahoma. We used to always pick cigs up in Alva, when I went with him. They were so much cheaper than KS. It looks like we are cheaper than you guys now?!?!? Maybe you should take a drive to the Indian reservations and pick some up, sometime. I think there is one in or around Ponca City. It is probably close to half-way between you and I. Maybe we should meet each other half-way someday. LOL  |

| LOL :-p maybe!! we might drive through on our way back up to iowa to finish some stuff off next year so we might stop in one. in iowa they were cheap. a pack of dorals at the murphy's in altoona was 2.30 with tax. it was great!! normally that would be what kirt smokes but since we moved down here man they're expensive!!! (the dorals that is)... well and he usually actually tries to buy what is BOGO or on sale or Buy 2 get 1 and stuff... i got something neat in the mail yesterday!?! i got a money clip from camel!! plus it had two coupons for 1.75 off a pack. it was nuts!?! i dont know why i'm getting all these free gifts and kirt didn't but i told him, i'm not complaining. the shot glasses were neat but they're sitting in our armoir along with the set of three matchbooks they sent us and he's using the money clip. i wonder if they just send them to random people maybe? idk... |

ok so i got another package today...
so far i have gotten:
a box of 3 matchbooks
a box w/ 2 shot glasses
a box w/ a money clip
and a box with a ciggerette holder
and plenty of coupons!!!!! they always send me 1.75 off a pack when i get them. i guess it's cool cuz i know kirt will use them up but they're sent me a lot so far for no reason? |
