| Other than the usual bread crumbs and croutons, what else can you make with those leftover bread ends? |

| My kids are young enough that they will still eat them. I just flop it on a sandwich or make some toast out of them. |

You can freeze them until you get quite a few and then use them to make stuffing.
I usually eat them. When I make a hot dog, I usually use bread instead of buying buns because sometimes a loaf of bread gets moldy before I use the whole thing. The end pieces are really great for hot dogs. |

| Bread pudding. Fresh bread crumbs are better in meatloaf than dried, I think. I tear up fresh bread and chopped onion and mix with hamburger and an egg, then make patties and fry. Better than plain old burgers and the outside is nice and krispy. |

| If you don't want to eat them as-is you could cut them in peices and use them in meatloaf. Or make homemade croutons. Or stuffing. |

Yeah, if I don't put them in meatloaf I set them on a cutting board and chop them into small squares and let them dry overnight. Then I put them in a ziploc and am saving them for when DH wants stuffing.
The french toast idea is good too! |

Just take them and put the crust side on the inside of the sandwich. The kids will have no idea it isn't a "normal" piece of bread. At least....that's what I do! |

Samething here. Any left over bread, crackers, tortilla's, cereal bits i cut up and take it out to the squirrels or birds, whoever gets to it first. |

| If your brown sugar gets all lumpy and dry, put a piece of toast (like the ends) inside. The bread gets dried out but it 'refreshes' the brown sugar so that its soft again. |

| I save my bread ends for the cookie jar. If you have cookies, brownies, snacks that get hard put them in a sealed jar with a piece of bread. it makes the cookies soft and the bread gets hard as the cookies/snacks obsorb the moisture from the bread making them soft and the bread hard. Then you can still use the bread for bread crumbs or croutons, etc. |

Sprinkle with water and set out on a deck or flat rail and then watch the butterflies come to drink the water! |

I have a recipe that calls for tiny torn pieces of bread so the end pieces would be perfect.
Mix ground beef
torn pieces of bread
diced onion
Form small patties and fry slowly until brown. Remove from skillet and drain. Now you can then make one of two sauces.
1) add cream of mushroom soup
OR
2) sliced onion cooked at med/high for a few minutes and squirt in quite a bit of ketchup and add some water to make a nice red sauce. Return the patties to the skillet.
Sometimes I don't even make either sauce and just eat the patties like they are. No matter which way I make them, I definetly have to have them with mashed potatoes. |

| I like to use them when I make spagetti for garlic toast instead of buying the french bread or hamburger buns to make it. My kids like it this way also. |
