A few ways I've found to use the the 40+ boxes I still have!! lol Laughing

~Electrasol POWDER mixed with bleach will take out about any stain on white garments imagineable. I've used it on colors too when a stain was bad and it wouldn't matter if it worked or not. Be sure to make the water so hot you can't stand it with your hand. It takes very, very hot water to dissolve the Electrasol powder.

~Take "old" formula stains out of onsies, etc: Put them in a tub of hot water with about 1/2 cup of powder Electrasol and 1 cup of bleach and soak it for about an hour. Then rinse them out & wash as usual. Came out blinding white! Can also be done with socks and white tees about every 4 washes and they come out awesome!

~Use Electrasol powder to clean the metal exhaust fan filter above the stove. Just fill the sink with enough hot water to cover the filter and pour in some powder. Let it soak for awhile then rinse with the sprayer & hot water.

~To clean your mini- blinds. Fill the tub up with hot water, add 1/4 cup powder or crushed up tab, let it dissolve. Set the blinds in & soak, go back a couple times and smoosh them in the water. Rinse and repeat for the next one.

~Use tabs to soak gunked up pots and pans...really hot water and one of the tabs let it soak for a little while and it comes off nice and easy.

~For burned on, stuck on stains in the bottom of a pot: Make a paste our of Powder or crushed up tabs,, let it sit & soak as while. When loosened, scrub as usual!

~Use it to clean the cat box. Fill up the cat box with hot water, throw in an Electrasol and let it sit overnight. It has bleach in the tablet so it deodorizes and cleans the nasty off if you just let it soak all day and night. Then just dump it out and let air dry. It works great!

~When the drain in the kitchen stinks, I just put an Electreasol tab in it and let it slowly disolved down in the drain.

~They work well on bathtubs. I throw in the gel pack, fill the tub up past the "scum line" with hot H2O & let it set while you clean the rest of the bathroom. When you drain the tub, no scrubbing is required; my kind of cleaning!

Add Yours!!!! What have you tried that has or hasn't worked?

LOL. Yesterday I ran out of laundry soap, and threw 2 of the gel packs into the washer. OMG. The towels smelled so good, and are cleaner than when I use oxyclean.

You Bet!!

I use it for clothes (white socks, t-shirts, etc). I was looking for more uses & as I found them, thought I'd post for everyone!

Oh, I also DID clean the screen over my range several times this way - Just need to be sure the water is VERY HOT!

Have you tried any? Have anything to contribute? Very Happy
