I will be taking a short trip in February, and would love to save a little money on airfare. Anyone have any coupon codes, or any other money-saving tips for airfare? I don't fly that frequently.

TIA!

Thanks, Carrie! So far Southwest and Fronteir have the best rates, so I'll probably end up going with Southwest to avoid the bag fee. I was hoping someone would have a promo code or something! Smile

I just saw this on another site I belong to hopefully you can use it!

If you have a Visa Signature card, sign up here to receive a 15% discount off a Southwest flight: Visa deal

Oh and Frontier is a great airline to fly on. My cousin is pilot for them and has been now for 15 years or so.

You rock! That is an awesome deal, and I do have a Visa Signature card. However, there are blackout dates on my travel days. I could be flexible with my dates and save some $, but I'm annoyed enough that I might just go with Frontier, pay the bag fees, and be done with it! I have flown with Frontier before, and I'm very familiar with Denver airport, which is where all the plane changes would be. I can book through ebates and get a little cash back. That might be the way to go!

Entertainment books usually have airfare discounts as well.

Good to know! Of course, I don't have a 2011 one yet... but maybe I'll find someone who does, and wants to trade!
