Hi! My name is Ana. I am new to coupon shopping. My husband thought we should give it a try but I am a little unsure how it all works.
I have gone on line and printed coupons, and we got todays paper to get coupons out of it (along with the ads). I have cut all the coupons out, organized them (in a folder and in a database), and I have started looking through the store ads.
My problem is...I am kind of picky about the products I use or the foods we eat. I do not see a lot of the products we buy in the coupons. And, I don't think we have any stores around us that double coupons. We have a Vons, Winco, Food 4 Less, and an Albertsons.
Also, I would like to find a way of getting more coupons (of the products I would use) without having to dig through peoples trash on Tuesday morning. That way when an item goes on sale I can get more of the items I would use.
And, what do I do with the coupons I get that I can't use or wont use?
Do you guys have any ideas, hints, suggestions, places to look, ect....?
TIA,
Ana |

Oh, and I forgot:
How do coupons really work? If I have a coupon for $1.00 off of 5 items can I use 5 coupons because I am buying 5 items or would that just be 1 item in sense?
If I have 12 coupons for a single item, can I use all 12 coupons if I purchase 12 items to go with those coupons? |

First,Welcome to CF.If you have a coupon for $1 off of 5 items, you must buy 5 items to use that coupon. Then you can use another $1 off of 5 items if you buy 5 more.Basically you can use 1 coupon for every 5 you buy.
With 12 coupons for a single item, you can use 12(if your store lets you)for 12 items.
Hope that wasn't too confusing. If you have more questions feel free to ask. |
