| I was at Walmart the other day, and they accepted my IP coupons. Each one is different. |

Did a manager tell you that, or a cashier?
I often find different cashiers say different things, so if I have problems I ask to see a copy of their coupn policy. |

I've used the IP in the self-checkout with no problems at all. Also lets me get individual receipts for rebates without a checker giving me any kind of hassle.

I've gotten lots of weird looks especially at CVS and Walgreens. I had one manager at a CVS size me up...examine the back of the coupon, scratch his head and look at me bewildered saying," Did you print this at home?" Like I had some sort of underground counterfeit coupon making syndicate.
Good thing I really don't get embarrassed!

| Family Dollar Stores here do not accept internet printed coupons. They even have posted on the checkout counter now. Kroger does not take them here either. There may be others that don't take them. I have given up on them. |

And you know what sucks the most? The fact that the best coupons are almost always printable. And almost every company rather give you a printable and not "a real" one. |

|
|
This was Walmarts (corporate) response to my e-mail about IP coupon policy:
Thank you for your message.
Wal-Mart Stores can accept coupons that are available on the internet
for customers to print from their home computers. The following are
guidelines for the stores for accepting internet coupons:
- The coupon should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon". There
should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer, to ensure the
coupon can be processed for payment.
- The coupon should have a scan-able bar code.
- The coupon should have an expiration date.
- The coupon cannot be a photocopy.
- The limit is one coupon per item, per Customer.
- A Salaried Manager can refuse to accept a coupon if it does not meet
any or all of these guidelines.
Thank you,
Customer Relations |
