Ok, I just got home from the mall.... the good news is the manager allowed my husband, me and my daughter to use one coupon each....the bad news is that she received notification from the Home Office that this program is being cancelled due to the abuse of the coupons....

She told me stories of people coming in with 10 coupons and wanting to split the order in 10 transactions and wanting to use the coupons.... she said it was really, really abused... that some people were printing coupons every day and using them.....and went on to tell me that the company has decided to discontinue all email coupons because of this one coupon....

It's really too bad... I only got to use a few of the coupons and its sad that the coupon was so abused that they are discontinuing the program....I guess for us, it was good while it lasted, but in the same breath, maybe its partly our fault that it happened.....

Yeah, this doesn't surprise me at all. Who can blame corporate for changing their policy? It's sad....

I don't think the cancellation is only our fault. I am sure that we were not the only one's who caught on. I am sorry this was cancelled. I got my dd summer wardrobe over the past 3 days and was looking forward to repeating it in the fall. Oh well, alls well that ends well.

I know it is more then just here as I live in a small town and I dont know of anyone on any of the boards that is right here by me and my Childrens Place stopped taking them last friday because people where coming in with so many. DS just got an email for 20% off so I guess that is there new birthday thing.

When I was at the mall a lady tried to take my coupon lol, she thought it was a stack on the counter, she goes "no i was just seeing if it was the same one I got". sure enough she had one too...

I just cant help but feel like I helped to ruin a good thing... I used 2 the other day with my daughter and then we went as a family today and used 3 more...so, I am just as much to blame, but it is a little sad that the promotion is totally gone because of it...

I wish they would just do it by email or someway have a code to where it can only be used once instead of discontinuing the whole Save $10 thing. Does anyone know how long they've been doing that? I wasn't a member of their club before all of this, so I don't really feel like I can email them and ask them to change how they do it so it's not just 20% off. But it would be nice to save $10 once a year on your child's b-day. Anyone have any suggestions or want to contact corporate?

I know I sure didn't get this when my son turned 1, and that was in January! In fact, I think I got a 10% off. Confused

It was certainly good while it lasted! Since I figured this was the last time, my husband and I made another trip last night. I wish gymboree would do something like this! Belk does this a couple times a year with a newspaper coupon.

I tried to see what June's coupon was, since you were saying they were going to change it and they did. It is now 20% off your entire purchase. What a shame. Not sure how to insert a link, hope it works.

oh I'm sure. I used to work there and they were always not that bright. Associates get a 30% off discount on gift cards (ie $100 gift card for $70). So if you go in an use your associate discount and buy $150 worth of clothes it'll cost you $105 (after 30% discount) - $100 gift card = $5. Total out of pocket $75! Half off.. they're brilliant.

Too bad they're not doing the $10 anymore, could have used that with 5 kids. Oh well, I guess this one got out of control. They should just mail them to you instead of sending it email.

I think that's what it said when I signed up three weeks ago, so I don't know if that is any different than what it was before. Hopefully they still do the $10 thing, though!! I know someone said they got the 20% for their child's b-day this month, but that was via email so I don't know if they got anything via snail mail.
