CHILDREN INFANT TYLENOL RECALL - CONTAIN BACTERIA
You may have heard that McNeil Consumer Healthcare (the makers of Tylenol) is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Children's and Infants' TYLENOL® liquid products that were manufactured between April, 2008 and June, 2008 in consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company is implementing this voluntary recall at the warehouse and retail levels, because examination of one of the inactive ingredients did not meet internal testing requirements. However, the packaged product, shipped to retailers by the company, has met all specifications.
These actions do not apply to Children's Tylenol Meltaways and Junior Strength Tylenol Meltaways. The voluntary recall applies only to select lots of Children's and Infants' TYLENOL® liquid products.
If you have any of the potentially affected products in your home and have questions you can contact the McNeil Consumer Call Care Center at 1-800-962-5357 (available Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.)
Parents and caregivers who have given the product to their child or infant and have concerns should contact their child's health care provider.

I think I have one or two bolltes at home but need to check the UPC codes if they are from the list. I'll let you know later. |

| I did have one of these items (actually several of them). I finally got a hold of Tylenol last night. They answered some questions for me about the product and why it was recalled. The bacteria that was found causes pneunomia. Ainsley has been in the hospital with pneunomia 2 times in the last year. They took my information down and wanted a full blown report. they said that someone would be calling me back to take the full report. (this was at 8:30 last night). I figured it would be sometime next week that someone would call me, however, my phone rang at 9:39 last night and it was a rep from tylenol. She documented everything that has happened with Ainsley since last September. She spent 40 minutes on the phone with me. They asked me to throw the product away and they were sending me coupons and a check for the replacement product. Ainsley just used this product last weekend so they have given me a special number to call if there are any issues with her in the next couple of days...kinda scary! |

| OMG Hailee has had phenoumia 4 times this year I never knew anything about the tylenol recall. One bill alone cost me $2700 no insurance |

You seriously need to look intio your states CHiP program.ALL kids are elligable for insurence. The fee is based on income, but ALL children can be covered! One of my cousins is on this program as it woudl be way too costly to ad her to her mom/grandmum's coverage. |

| what really sucks is I didn't know there was a recall on the tylenol. I only buy bubble gum, grape and strawberry flavors for her. I bought several bottles up. We have used all of them now. So I seriously wonder if me giving her tylenol for leg cramps (growing pains) cause her to be sick. |

I know what you mean. When Aram got sick before they were recalled, he threw up violently every time I gave him Tylenol. I thought it was just part of his sickness, but now I wonder if he was throwing up because of the Tylenol. |
