Since summer is here and money is tight for many another way to save is to make your own popsicles. Please if you have a recipe add it to this thread.
I'll add my recipe on the next post.

Double Chocolate Pudding Pops
1 pkg Jell-O Fudge Chocolate pudding mix
2 Cups cold milk
8 tbsp dark chocolate chips (or the chocolate chip flavor of your choice)
popsicle molds
Directions
Mix pudding according to package with milk.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Mix well and let sit till thickened.
Pour into popsicle molds. Let freeze until solid I think about 4 hours to overnight.
Makes 10 popsicles.
Nutritional Info for those interested
120 Cals
4.5 Fat
3pts for WW people
In the end these costed less than $2 to make way cheaper than the store!

We used to make OJ pops, the store bought Florida's Natural OJ, the one without pulp, put them in the molds, set them to freeze and enjoy..this way kids will get their popsicle fun, the sugar content is controlled and they get their daily share of Vit C.
Same thing can be made with the Florida's Natural Lemonade and Apple Juice.
If there are no molds, just pour the juice into plastic/paper cups, stick a popsicle stick in them and freeze, peel off the cup when frozen ( if paper cups ), the plastic cups will just pop off, and you can wash and reuse them for the next batch of popsicles. |

I combine 2 cups of yogurt-any fruit flavors you like and some sliced fresh fruit-your choice. I then blend and pour into molds. Aubrey loves Strawberry/peach. She gets calcium and fruit without even knowing it. |
