I just made this pudding tonight and it was soooo good!!! So much better than the junky powder in the boxes
Another plus of this recipe it is so cheap to make. All the ingredients are staple items in most kitchens. Probably costs very little for the whole batch!
Creamy Chocolate Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp Cornstartch
2 Tbsp Cocoa powder (the unsweetened stuff)
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 Cups Milk
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Butter (I used unsalted)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
(ETA: On my 2nd batch of this I changed the sugar amt to 1/2 cup, it seemed a little too sweet before)
DIRECTIONS:
In a small pan mix together Cornstartch, Cocoa powder, Sugar, Salt, & Milk. Heat on MEDIUM for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. After 10 minutes turn heat off keep stirring for another few. You should start to seem a little thickening by now. Add in Butter & Vanilla. Keep stirring. Chill to thicken the rest of the way. Makes 6 servings. I added a small amt of FF reddi-whip and ground up cacao reserve pieces to top. Looked very pretty and was very good!
So easy
