16 tostada shells
1lb ground beef
2 (32oz) cans old el paso refriend beans
8 oz (2c) shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever kind u like)
1 pkt taco seasoning
1/2 c water
heat oven to 400 degrees. on ungreased cookie sheet, heat tostada for 10 minutes. brown ground beef in small nonstick skillet over medium heat until throughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain. add taco seasoning and 1/2 c water. with warm crusts on the cookie sheet, spoon bean mixture evenly with beef; sprinkle each with cheese. return to oven and bake for additional 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. if desired serve with favorite taco toppings such as lettuse, tomatoes, sour cream, gaucamole, etc... (8 servings) |
