Ok Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am NOT a cooker but tonight I made Crockpot chicken and dumplings:
boneless skinless chicken breasts (bogo at acme..lol)
1 can cream of celery
1 can cream of chicken
1 can chicken broth
1 bag of baby carrots (10 for 10 at Genardi's)
1 medium yellow onion
on high for 5 hrs then add one container of pillsbury grands (also 10 for 10!) on top for 45 more mins
DELICIOUS!!!
Now I want to have Crockpot Sundays....I would like to do a pot roast and tacos with ground beef. Any recipes out there? Other ideas also are welcome. I need step by step instructions because I am new to this cooking thing..lol.
Thanks and I hope others can benefit.

This is so delicious and easy!
4 chicken breasts, browned and cut into cubes or chunks
1 pkg. Italian salad dressing mix, dry.
1 cube butter, cut up
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cut up
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 can milk
Place chicken in pot. Sprinkle mix over. Add the rest. Cook on low all day or high for 5 or so hours, til done. Serve over Fettucine noodles or mashed potatos are good too! Enjoy! |
